I'm looking forward to attending and speaking at the International Conference on Technology in Collegiate Mathematics hosted by Pearson at the Venetian in Las Vegas, NV March 12-15.

My workshop entitled, Essential iPad Apps and Activities for Preservice K-12 Math Teachers, is already waitlisted!

This workshop will provide classroom-ready activities to prepare preservice teachers for teaching concepts in number sense, integer operations, fraction computation, algebra and geometry. Participants will explore classic K-12 hands-on activities in conjunction with the following iPad apps: Number Frames, Pattern Blocks, Geoboard, and Notability. Moreover, Reflector Airplay and Apple TV will serve as means to project any iPad (or iOS device) wirelessly, transforming an iPad into a portable and affordable smart board for the classroom.
