Mobile technologies have became popular classroom entities over the past decade. Like other instructional technologies, teachers are provided with the resources but rarely receive amble training on how to implement the technology effectively in their classroom to enhance learning.

On Friday March 21st, 2014, I will be leading a session at the International Conference on Technology in Collegiate Mathematics (ICTCM). The session entitled, iPad Activities for Preservice K-12 Math Teachers, is designed to provide classroom tested activities to prepare preservice teachers for teaching topics in geometry, statistics, algebra, and number theory in K-12 classrooms. Discussion will include classic K-12 hands-on activities that have been updated to include iPad implementation in any classroom to meet the needs of diverse learners. To view the Prezi presentation for this session please click here.

To access additional resources for using iPads for teaching K-12 and collegiate mathematics select this link to a shared Dropbox folder. And of course, reach out via email with any additional questions or suggestions!
