Below are links to Airbnb's, hotels, apart hotels, and rental homes that I have stayed in, organized by country and city. Keep in mind, some rentals were fabulous, others were good, and a few I would not rent again. 

The criteria I look for in rentals are:

• AC in bedroom

• WiFi in the unit, not shared with another unit

• Kitchen with refrigerator/freezer combo, kettle, toaster, 2-burner stovetop or hot plate, microwave

• Washer with drying rack

• Good sized shower, no small corner shower

• The shower head sprayer has a wall mount above my head

• Outdoor space with seating, overlooking something scenic

• Couch or sitting area separate from bed if a Studio apartment

• Queen or king bed, not too firm, with nice pillows and linens

• Blackout curtains in bedroom

• Smart TV

• Pool onsite

• Location within 10 minutes walking distance of groceries, restaurants, and the beach.
